Version 3.05 — Introducing Vibe Otter Analytics! Now you can see how many people are visiting your site and where they are coming from. All new sites have analytics enabled; to enable it on an existing site, simply click “Go Live”. We also fixed bugs related to the Ebook Builder, which now produces stunning ebooks from the first prompt!

Version 3.04 — Image Bug Fixes! We fixed a bug that could occasionally scramble a photo gallery while Vibe Otter was building or updating a page — photos could lose their layout and stray characters could sneak into the design. Vibe Otter now double-checks every gallery before your page is saved and automatically redoes any that aren't right, so your photos always show up clean and perfectly arranged.

Version 3.03 — Introducing Vibe Otter Blog Mode! Vibe Otter is now the only builder of its kind that gives you the organized content management you'd expect from WordPress or Squarespace. Blog Mode lets you use the Vibe Otter you already love while keeping every page perfectly consistent — even when you're updating hundreds of posts across many categories with complex ways of sorting and presenting your content. It's built for bloggers and news sites, but it's just as useful if you simply keep a blog to help your business get found on Google. We also made chat better: Vibe Otter now tells you honestly when something didn't get done instead of claiming it did, you can stop a request while it's still running, and the new Message History button lets you look back at your past conversations.

Version 3.02 — Improved Image Handling and Touch Up! We rebuilt how Vibe Otter handles images from the ground up, making it smarter at anything image related — adding photos, swapping them out, resizing, logos, and more. We also gave Touch Up mode the text tools you'd expect from a traditional word processor: bold, italics, underline, and the ability to change the color, font, and size of individual words.

Version 3.01 — Introducing Site Sharing! You can now share your site with another person so you can build it together. Open your site's menu on the dashboard, choose Share access, and send an invite to their email. They can edit and publish from their own Vibe Otter account while you stay the owner — your plan and billing stay yours. Great for working with a business partner, family member, or web designer. We also fixed a bug affecting Shopify stores.

Vibe Otter 3.0 — We made Vibe Otter so much faster, more creative at web design, and smarter at building full-stack apps that we're declaring it a new version. Also, by popular demand, paid plans can now customize the emails your customers receive! Just ask Vibe Otter to personalize your emails if you have an existing site, or edit them in Touch Up mode.

Version 2.23 — Introducing Site Transfer and Spanish Localization! Web designers can now design sites and transfer finished sites to their clients. We also added a language toggle and automatic Spanish translation of the Vibe Otter site. Although English and Spanish are the only languages our site is translated to, Vibe Otter can take directions from you in any language and make websites for you in any language.

Version 2.22 — Announcing Lasso Mode! Lasso mode lets you click to indicate things you want changed in prompts, as if you were talking to a web designer. This should make prompting much easier: you no longer need to learn web design terms like "hero," "card," or "section." Just drag over an area and say "add these photos" to make a new photo gallery.

Version 2.21 — Announcing a completely rebuilt Touch Up mode! You can now modify your site by hand much more easily, including text, photos, and cards. If you have used Touch Up mode before, this should be a much better experience, more like traditional drag-and-drop website builder tools. It also set the stage for a big surprise in the near future!

Version 2.15 — Get recommended by ChatGPT. Vibe Otter is one of the first website platforms to automatically improve your site's ability to be understood, found, and recommended by assistants like ChatGPT. Introducing automatic llms.txt generation: a new file that summarizes your site for those assistants. To update your site, simply click Go Live after reading this note and the update will automatically be applied.

Version 2.14 — Media-heavy sites are now more reliable, especially influencer, UGC, portfolio, and social-video sites. Vibe Otter now handles uploaded videos, TikTok/Instagram samples, custom thumbnails, posters, and mixed image/video requests more consistently, with better final checks that catch missing videos, broken thumbnails, link-only social cards, and failed image swaps before reporting success.

Version 2.13 — Added site templates so you can turn an existing full-stack app into a reusable starting point, copy and reskin it for a new client, or share it with another Vibe Otter user who can accept it, reskin it, and build on top of it. Added Global Otter Instructions so you can set site-wide standards for the Otter to follow, including font sizes, colors, and design aesthetics. Fixed bugs that make it easier to find and manage sites for users with many sites.

Version 2.12 — Added Calendar Sync for booking calendars, so Vibe Otter booking calendars can sync with Airbnb, Outlook, VRBO, and other calendar services. Added mobile and desktop preview controls so you can edit mobile views from desktop and desktop views from mobile. Added clearer notices about undoing Vibe Otter changes and about Touch Up Mode being a beta feature. Added new internal SDK versioning tools that make future Vibe Otter upgrades safer and easier.

Version 2.09 — You can now deploy your site to a path on your own domain, like app.yourdomain.com. Perfect if you already have a website somewhere else and want to add an app, a landing page, or a new section without touching your main site.

Ebook Exports — Fixed a bug where ebook PDFs had blank pages and layout issues. Exports are now clean and properly formatted.

Version 2.08 — You can now make multiple sites under one account! Each site deployed to a custom domain will require its own hosting subscription, but the Prompts that come with each subscription are shared account-wide. If you have 2 Starter custom-domain sites and never edit one but constantly update the other, you can use 180 Prompts on your second site per month.
